If you were working at home with a piece of precision sheet metal, you would probably cut it with a set of tin snips. This would definitely not be productive in the manufacturing world. The manufacturing companies have turned to computers to attain more precise cutting of sheet metal. Many of these computers utilize lasers to cut the metal. Lasers use a beam of light to cut the sheet metal into the required shape.
