American Tank and Fabricating, a custom steel fabricator in Cleveland, announces equipment upgrades to one of its large rolling systems. Originally installed in 1977, the company has fabricated thousands of cylinders for AT&F customers. After 35 years of service, the large heavy plate rolling machine has undergone a major upgrade. KEY automotive supplier Autodom has shut its doors indefinitely at three plants in Victoria and South Australia, sending 400 workers home. The plants, which supply metal pressings and moulded components to carmakers Toyota, Holden and Ford, said it had been forced to shut due to the slowdown in demand for local vehicles.
